I've created this website to store some notes I think are interesting and worth spreading to others. How many times have I search for explanations or tutorials and found some very useful and interesting posts? Uncountable times! The sharing of knowledge is one of the most beautiful things the www has brought to everybody. Following the same philosophy I will try to do the same myself in my own little way. I hope someone could eventually find some useful stuff!
What about me? I studied Computer Science and I'm currently a PhD student in Operations Research and Machine Learning. My research interests focus on boosting metaheuristics for combinatorial optimization problems using machine learning techniques. As a case study I'm currently working on Vehicle Routing related problems. But ... most important of all: I'm a programmer! and I really love everything about programming! ... from coding high performance parallel algorithms and open heterogeneous distributed systems ... to user interfaces and compilers! I have a repository with several public projects. Apart from computer stuff I really enjoy listening to music and reading books.
